How is the formation laid?

New construction of roads:
- Assessment of the construction class in accordance with regional/national building regulations
- Determination of the overall thickness of the frost-proof superstructure in accordance with regional/national building indications
- Selection of the method in accordance with the technical, economic viewpoint and, where applicable, local features

The expansion of existing roads:
- Appraisal of the existing building structure
- Selection of the renewal class in accordance with regional/national building regulation
- Replacement of unsuitable components in the existing structure with suitable building materials and building material mix
- Testing of the improvement of the drainage features, where necessary
- Integration of mineral filled asphalt as reinforcement with suitable layer formation
Stresses
Testing for particular stresses is absolutely imperative
Particular stresses can be, for example:
- Driving in one traffic lane only and tight cornering
- Slow moving traffic
- Frequent braking and acceleration
- Bus bays and stops
- Stop-and-go-traffic
- Particularly high temperatures over an extended period of time
- Intensive solar radiation
